Nallawilli Development has designed a 6 storey, 64 unit modular apartment building in Tuggerah, on the Central cost of NSW. The accommodation mixes commercial and retail on the ground floor with a combination of studio, one bed, two bed and three bed apartments above. The project is contained within a business park and the zoning permits ‘shop top housing’, facilitating our solution.
Natural cross ventilation occurs in 95% of the units. Solar and rainwater collection are also incorporated, together with outdoor landscaped areas on the podium levels for the residents.
By maximising the permitted uses within the business park zoning, land costs have been significantly reduced. The site preparation work, including a single storey basement will run concurrently with the modular fabrication, allowing an overall completion time of 6 to 7 months.
